Immigrant integration in Amsterdam. Tesfalem's story.

The challenge of integration for refugees in society reaches the Amsterdam integration process should start from the day of coming - one of the main lessons from the past. With a little help, motivation and your own input it is possible to meet your dreams at Amsterdam and work toward building a new future in the city.
This is the story of a special 'new' Amsterdam, who fled the country under an authoritarian regime. Having a primary education in labor market or following an education allows for the rapid integration of a new society. Amstedam Refugees for Status-Holders Propose a Proper Way for Refugees This is the story of Tasefel:
His misconception from Tesafalim Eritrea eventually led him to the Netherlands. After he got his status, he went to Amsterdam where he joined the Amsterdam Status-Holder Program. Ingrid, he is appointed as a personal case manager.Evaluation and intake
The first step in the Amsterdam Status-Holder program is usually assessed. But client managers can opt for a comprehensive intake interview instead. The goal of determining what is required to settle in Amsterdam. Often learning this language and learning a job or a suitable educational course is the first step towards this goal. State holders are entitled to benefits, but this is not the main purpose. People need to get the opportunity to build their own future. After all, survival benefits are not in the future.Integration and language
Tesfalem notices that Dutch councils support the refugees as well as Amsterdam. He is very happy at the end of Amsterdam.
"I have a good relation with Indigidad, my client manager," Tesephalum says, "And he was happy to help me. He quickly got to know me and got a training course that really likes me - where I can learn Dutch and my integration in the Netherlands Work, others who hold educational backgrounds like me. "Bachelor of Educational Psychology
Tertullam graduated as an educational psychologist at Eritrea and worked at various schools. Their goal was to involve parents more in the education of their children, which was often a real struggle "In Eritrea, many parents are illiterate, or practically illiterate," he explains. "The systems in Eritrea are completely different from the Dutch system, I found. I have a really good job there, but there was no possibility for me to stay."Orientation Program
Like other refugees, Tasefel is enrolled in language acquisition and orientation programs for refugees. "The things they mentioned include actions, education, integration and settlement in the city," he explained. It proves that there is a real magician for Tesphalic languages, of course, he is already helping to translate his classmate's students into texts. Finally, in Ingrede, he managed to get him a job as an interpreter and admin supporter in the implementation, which is responsible for the agents who mediate to find the job of the occupants and run the orientation program. "Without Indigid I was unable to work only volunteering. Now I'm already in a six month contract." Tesfalem explainedNew obstacles
'Amsterdam's status-holder programs require a customized approach to positive,' insigne emphasizes. "It was important to get him the job salaries in Teshelm's case, as a client manager, my job is to support status-holders, and to find ways that they will not be able to find themselves, Tesfalem is a real go-getter. Eager to accept. "Linguistic genius

Tesfalem has been in the Netherlands for only 18 months, but already has a good perception of Dutch language and has a B1 level skill. He explained that "I'm the masters that are important in the Dutch". "You need to know the language Indigreed and I just speak Dutch now" She is so proud to come so far in such a short time. What is the future
Tasefel wants to pick his old job again. When he drinks B2 level Dutch, he will be able to make his plans even further. Level B2 skill means I can continue my education. I am thinking of a master. 'Hope he does not have to start from scratch. His diploma from Eritrea will soon be evaluated by the UAF (University Asylum Fund).
"Here I see a lot of young Eritrea in the Netherlands, who are really hard to decide, they have ended Tesephal I want to give charity to support the people of this group, which will require more knowledge of Dutch language and Dutch systems in my part. I'm definitely done. "

Hundreds of kids rescued in major child porn bust

NEARLY 900 suspected paedophiles have been arrested and almost 300 children identified or rescued from their abusers following the massive take-down of an underground online paedophile network, US and European police said.

A more than two-year investigation into the notorious Playpen network and its members led to the arrests, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Europol said, an announcement that came just days after a US court sentenced Playpen founder and administrator Steven Chase to 30 years in prison.
The arrest of Florida-based Chase in December 2014 set off a sweeping global probe into the users of the members-only forum.
Playpen was buried deep online in what is known as the "darknet," where Tor anonymity software and encryption hide often illegal activities.
In this case, it masked participants in a forum where people submitted and traded photographs and videos of the sexual abuse of children.
The nearly 900 arrests included dozens of abusers and child pornography creators.
Dubbed "Operation Pacifier," the investigation began when the FBI used its own malware to effectively seize the Playpen website and server.
Operating it for several weeks more, investigators then hacked and tracked site users by sending malware to their computers.
In an operation that critics say was legally questionable, more than 1000 computers worldwide were hacked in this way by the FBI, and their users identified.
Lead FBI investigator Dan Alfin said the operation is ongoing.
"As they get smarter, we adapt, we find them," he said.
"It's a cat-and-mouse game, except it's not a game. Kids are being abused, and it's our job to stop that."
Civil liberties groups however were strongly critical of the way the FBI took over the network and traced users with its own malware hacking tools.

A single search warrant should not have allowed investigators to gain access to and search more than 1000 private computers, the Electronic Frontier Foundation said in comments to some of the Playpen court cases.
"The warrant here did not identify any particular person to search or seize. Nor did it identify any specific user of the targeted website," the organisation said.
"It did not even attempt to describe any series or group of particular users."
In a statement, Steven Wilson, head of Europol's European Cybercrime Center, said the case demonstrated how law enforcement needs to use such methods to fight criminals who can hide behind online anonymisation and encryption programs.
"We need to balance the rights of victims versus the right to privacy," he said.
"If we operate by 19th century legal principles then we are unable to effectively tackle crime at the highest level.

North Korea claims CIA plotted to kill Kim Jong-un

A North Korean referred to only as "Kim" was paid to carry out an attack with biochemical substances, the ministry of state security said.
The plot was foiled, it said, but gave no details on the fate of "Kim". The CIA declined to comment and South Korea has issued no statement so far.
The North's claim comes amid continued high tension on the Korean peninsula.
US President Donald Trump has promised to "solve" North Korea and stop it developing nuclear weapons.

'Human scum'

The ministry of state security statement, carried by state news agency KCNA, said the CIA and South Korean intelligence services had "hatched a vicious plot to hurt the supreme leadership of the DPRK".
It did not mention Kim Jong-un by name, but he is widely referred to as the supreme leader.
The ministry said a plot had been hatched to use "bomb terrorism" to target the supreme leadership at a military parade or at an event at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the mausoleum of Kim Il-sung, the country's founding leader.
It said "Kim" had been told that the best method was the use of "biochemical substances including radioactive substance and nano poisonous substance" whose results would "appear after six or 12 months".
"Only the CIA can produce such substance," it said, adding that South Korea had borne the funding.
The ministry alleged that the North Korean man had been "turned" by the CIA and the South Korean intelligence service while working in Russia in 2014.
The ministry refers to two payments to "Kim" of $US20,000 and a further two of $100,000 for "bribery" and obtaining equipment. It refers to another of $50,000 but it is unclear if this is additional.
On his return to Pyongyang, it says, he was instructed to provide detailed information about a frequently used event ground and to assess possible methods of attack.
Analysts say such an assassination operation would be extremely difficult to plan and carry out given the massive security around the supreme leader.
The ministry statement gave no details of how the alleged plan had been uncovered or about the fate of "Kim", whom it described as "human scum".
The ministry said the "intelligence and plot-breeding organisations of the US imperialists and the puppet clique", referring to the South, would be swept away.
Earlier this year, Kim Jong-un's half brother, Kim Jong-nam, was killed with the banned nerve agent VX at Kuala Lumpur international airport. South Korea and Malaysia say it was an assassination carried out by the North.

'Major, major conflict'

A war of words between the West and nuclear-armed North Korea has escalated in recent weeks, with Pyongyang threatening to carry out a sixth nuclear test.
On Saturday, North Korea conducted its second failed ballistic missile test in two weeks.
The US has sent a warship to the region and installed a controversial anti-missile defence system in South Korea.
President Trump has warned of "major, major conflict" with North Korea.
But he also said this week he would be willing to meet Kim Jong-un, in the right circumstances. The White House quickly clarified that conditions were "clearly not there right now" and said the North should "end its provocative behaviour immediately".
